Yesterday there was the first really hot day and today that weather continued, which was handy since some volunteer colleagues came round for a BBQ. The only problem was that it was almost too hot. In fact the fridge certainly gave up the ghost early in the evening and we had a real struggle to get any cold beers. I just wanted to post this picture of the wonderful cake made by one of the volunteers, Nicole- very appropriate.
