Although it took us till nearly the end of the holiday we finally managed to get to Raffles Hotel for a visit to the tourist trap and a Singapore Sling, except for the fact that I really don't like that particular cocktail and so it was just Claire that partook in the drink. In the morning we visited Sentosa Island, another tourist trap though more for the Singapore locals with its rides, bars and beaches.
