I got up early so that I could nip down to the Cable Car Station and purchase the ski passes for the week. Arriving at 8.30am I found three cashiers and no other people. This didn’t alter much by the time we came down after breakfast to actually catch the cable car! This turned out to be the norm across the resort (there are three other stations within the Val D’Anniviers) as we came across empty piste after empty piste. Oh and the sun shone all day too.
