With Claire away and also having access to Jim's car this week I decided to get out for one last day of skiing by driving down to
Meiringen-Halsiberg. It's just over and hour and forty minutes to drive to the resort and it was a truly beautiful day. I don't really "do" Spring Skiing as the snow is just not particularly nice to ski on unless the resort is really high. However, the limited pistes and the hot sunshine were still good enough for a few hours of fun in the snow. It's a very strange experience (to me) to ski in such temperatures and I'll definitely take a different set of gear next year if I repeat the experience!
